Draw the line between

With this down-turned economy everyone is feeling the squeeze. I felt it last year when I had been laid off along with many other hard-working Americans. The truth is, we have to focus on the basis of our country; we need to get back to our constitutional roots and become determined to make real money again.

If you have ever used a service online that may cost anywhere from 5$ a month to $500 a month, you will notice that there is usually a program offered to "Affiliate" yourself and this promotes their service without them having to spend the money on advertising. This is a great way to promote your business or service. The problem with this is that a plethora of people online are taking advantage of this and they tell you to build your "business" around these affiliate programs. Yes there is huge potential being an affiliate and selling the service to others, but getting there you will have to spend more money to just learn how to do this.
I've known about service affiliation for a few years now, and I liked the concept; However, no service or product has been worth my time to promote. A compensation plan purely built on "sign-ups" is not the kind of income I want. A second problem with trying to make money with this is that no one really cares, and not too many people want to spend money right now, and since the internet is being so over populated with these affiliations no one knows the difference between an online business opportunity or a network affiliation program.

Here's the huge difference... Network Affiliation does not create real income, because usually there is no product, or the service offered can only be used in one application. An online business opportunity will set up a Manager Station online with a product line you can promote or you can promote the business opportunity so that people may join your team if you want. The third essential piece that joins these two is a Marketing System, which most people don't have, and the ones that do are making money.
Honestly, what kind of money are you making if you are telling someone you know "the secret to business success" but all you are doing is getting a percentage for "sign-ups" or you get compensated by someone purchasing the information. These are capture pages and they are usually very hyped up to make you believe you will make a ton of money just by doing what they say. In the end you either get bored because you can't make money, or you have to spend a lot more money than you planned on just to realize that you can't make it work. The chances are that the demographic you are trying to find has already been captured. It's the same people just circulating through these Network Affiliations.
